What is Barnabas Health Physician Office Patient Portal?
Barnabas Health Physician Office Patient Portal is a secure online health
management tool that allows you to view your medical information from
your Barnabas Health doctor’s office. Through Barnabas Health Physician
Office Patient Portal you can access educational materials, and view your
current medications, allergies, immunizations, health issues, and past
select lab results. In addition, you can exchange messages with your Barnabas
Health physicians’ office and request medication renewals.
Is my information secure?
Yes. Barnabas Health Physician Office Patient Portal is HIPAA compliant
and provides you with the ability to securely view, store and share your
health information, as well as send and receive messages with your doctor’s office.
How can I enroll for Barnabas Health Physician Office Patient Portal?
You can create a Barnabas Health Physician Office Patient Portal account
by going to
https://barn-hs.iqhealth.com/self-enroll/. You will be required to enter your first name, last name, date of birth,
and full SSN. You can also enroll for Barnabas Health Physician Office
Patient Portal by filling out a short form at your doctor’s office.
You will need to provide your name, date of birth, e-mail address, and
the last four digits of your Social Security number.
To complete the registration, an email invitation with a secure, unique
link will be sent to you. When you click the link, confirm your name,
date of birth, last 4 digits of your Social Security number (or any 4-digit
number you choose). Follow the steps on the screen to finish your registration.
Can I enroll to view my children’s medical information?
Yes, parents or guardians of children up to age 13 can access their children’s
medical information on Barnabas Health Physician Office Patient Portal.
You will need to complete the short registration form and provide a valid
email address during your child’s visit to the physician. Parental
access is terminated just before the child’s 13th birthday. Parent
of minors age 13 through 17 cannot be given access to Barnabas Health
Physician Office Patient Portal because of New Jersey privacy laws that
prevent sharing certain medical information with parents.
Can I give permission for someone else to view my medical information,
such as a spouse or my adult child?
Yes, any patient age 18 or older can request “proxy” access
for another adult.
How do I log into Barnabas Health Physician Office Patient Portal?
Once your account has been set up, you can access your Barnabas Health
Physician Office Patient Portal account anywhere that you have access
to the Internet at home, work, school, library, etc. Just visit https://iqhealth.com/
and click the green “Sign in with Cerner Health”. You can
log in using either your email address or the username that you created
during registration.
Can I share my password with a family member so I don’t have to sign
up for proxy access?
No, this is not recommended. The proxy should have his or her own Barnabas
Health Physician Office Patient Portal account. That way, you will always
have the choice in the future to stop sharing your information with another person
How do I change my password?
After logging in to the portal, click on the “Account Settings”
link in the upper right corner of the screen (to the left of “Sign
Out”). Select “Account” from the drop down menu, then
click “Update account settings” then “Password”
to change your password. You will be asked to enter your current password
and then your new password.
What should I do if I change my email address?
Please be sure to promptly let your doctor’s office know your new
email address, to ensure that you do not miss any notifications. You can
stop by your doctor’s office and fill out a new registration form.
Then, we will send another invitation to your new email address. To ensure
the privacy of your medical information, we cannot accept a change of
email address over the phone.
What if I have questions or trouble accessing my account?
For assistance with logging into Barnabas Health Physician Office Patient
Portal, please call the Support Line at (877) 621-8014, available 24 hours
a day, 7 days a week. The Support Line can only help with technical questions
and will not be able to help with medical questions. For specific questions
about the medical information you see in Barnabas Health Physician Office
Patient Portal, please call your physician’s office.
Where does my health information come from?
All of your information is pulled directly from your electronic health
record at your doctor’s office. You will see selected information
from your visits to Barnabas Health physicians. The Barnabas Health Physician
Office Patient Portal does not contain information from any visits to
independent physicians’ offices outside of our organization, or
information from hospital or emergency room visits. Also, information
from Behavioral Health visits is not displayed, due to strict privacy
laws regarding that information.
How do I view my health information?
• Click the “Clinical Record” section. Here, you can choose
to view different categories of information.
• The "Clinical Record Summary" contains information about
your medications, allergies, immunizations, health issues, and past procedures.
• In the “Medications” section, you can view your current
medications and request refills.
• The "Documents" section contains summaries of doctor’s
office visits, as well as any educational materials that were provided
to you as part of your visit. You must have a PDF reader to view or download
a document.
• The "Labs" section will have select test results.
• The "Copy of Record "section allows you to view or download
a "Continuity of Care Document" (CCD).
• The “Messaging” section allows you to securely communicate
with your doctor’s office.
How do I send a message to a provider?
You can send a message to a provider on the Secure Messaging navigation
panel. This will expand that navigation panel to reveal message options
including available messaging templates. Select a template from those
provided. Next, enter your provider’s name in the “To:”
search box and select the appropriate provider from the drop-down list
that appears. Type your message. Click Send.
Do not use messaging for urgent matters. If you are experiencing a medical
emergency, call 911. Messages to your provider’s office are not
checked on evenings, weekends or holidays. Normal turn-around time is
two business days.
How will I know when I have a new message?
When a new message arrives in your inbox, an email alert will be sent to
the email address that was entered for your account during registration.
How do I check my messages?
After you log in to Barnabas Health Physician Office Patient Portal, you
will see your homepage. Select Secure Messaging from the navigation panel
on the left and click on Inbox. To view the content of a message, click
on that message.
Why is Cerner referenced on the website?
Cerner is the company we use to securely manage your electronic medical
record information. Barnabas Health Physician Office Patient Portal is
a customized Cerner system that provides you with the capabilities to
view portions of the medical record system in your doctor’s office.
What if I have problems accessing the portal?
For technical questions that are not addressed at https://iqhealth.com/,
please call 877-621-8014 between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Monday through Friday
(except holidays) or send an email to support@iqhealth.com.
What if my medical information is incorrect?
If you have any questions about the medical information you see in Barnabas
Health Physician Office Patient Portal, please contact the doctor’s
office that provided your care.
