Unique Opportunities
RWJBarnabas Health Leadership Forum is designed for the PGY1 and PGY2 residents
in the RWJBarnabas system to gain experience and expertise in Leadership
and Management in addition to their already established learning experiences.
The topics taught are items that are not a part of traditional clinical
training and gained by many on the fly or in a situational basis. Topics
include: team building, collaboration, human resource management, goal
setting, metrics, financial management, culture, business etiquette and
networking. Through 6 off-site interactive sessions, residents are provided
with dedicated time to review and develop these skills. Additionally,
these sessions allow the formation of a deeper connection and relationship
with the residents across the Enterprise.
Teaching and Learning Certificate Program: Offered by the Ernest Mario
School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University, this program will strengthen
the resident’s knowledge and skills in presenting lectures and precepting students.
Precepting Students: CMMC accepts APPE And IPPE students from Fairleigh
Dickinson University (FDU) School of Pharmacy, University of the Sciences,
and the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers.
