Welcome
The PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency program offers opportunities for
residents to participate in multidisciplinary practice in the largest
hospital in Newark, New Jersey. There are currently two PGY-1 positions
available at NBIMC. We participate in the Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized
Application Service and will be participating in the ASHP Residency Matching
Program for all classes.
Mission and Vision
Our mission is to get the right medication to the right patient at the
right time.
The department of pharmacy supports the mission and goals of NBIMC and
CHoNJ though it’s commitment to be an integral member of the healthcare
team. We will be a progressive leader by providing our community with
innovative and efficient pharmaceutical services across the continuum
of care resulting in optimal clinical outcomes where teaching, healing,
and preventative medicine integrate.
