Sandra Richardson, PharmD, CCP
Director of Pharmacy Services
Sandra Richardson graduated from Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers
University with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy in 1994. She worked
as a Consultant Pharmacist and Clinical Project Manager in Long Term Care
for 10 years during which time she went back to school and received her
Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Kansas. In 2006, Sandra
began to work as a staff pharmacist at Monmouth Medical Center Southern
Campus (Kimball Medical Center) and was later promoted to Assistant Director/Clinical
Coordinator in 2007 before becoming the Director of Pharmacy Services
in 2011. In October 2014 Sandra assumed the role of Director of Pharmacy
Services at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.

Judi Estok, RPH
Assistant Director of Pharmacy Operations
Judith Estok graduated from the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers
University with a BSPharm in 1976. She has worked in various staff and
administrative positions after joining Barnabas Health in 2001. Judi worked
as operations supervisor for several years at Newark Beth Israel Medical
Center prior to her current position as the Assistant Director in 2012.

Leena Kansagra, PharmD, BCPS
Residency Program Director
Leena graduated from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy at the University
of the Sciences in 2009. She completed a PGY-1 Residency at Christiana
Care Health System in Newark, DE with a primary focus in critical care
medicine. Then she went on to pursue a PGY-2 residency in critical care
Medicine through The Philadelphia College of Pharmacy with her clinical
practice site at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ. During that
time, Leena also obtained her teaching certificate and was an instructor
of clinical pharmacy teaching clinical case studies, clinical laboratory,
and lectures in the critical care elective and Pharmacy & Therapeutics
class. In 2011, she became the critical care pharmacy specialist rounding
in the medical and cardiothoracic unit at Crozer Chester Medical Center
in the Chester, PA. Leena made the move to North Jersey in 2013 and took
the position of clinical pharmacist of emergency services at NBIMC.

Kayla Torppey, PharmD, BCPS
Residency Coordinator
Kayla received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Philadelphia College
of Pharmacy at the University of the Sciences in 2014. Post-graduation,
she completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Newark Beth Israel
Medical Center. Following her clinical training, she stayed on at NBIMC
as the Internal Medicine Clinical Pharmacist and has become an asset to
our program.

Ze Jiang, PharmD
Sterile products supervisor
Ze Jiang graduated from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy at the University
of the Sciences in 2013. Upon graduating, he enrolled in the MBA program
at the Fox School of Business and anticipates graduating in 2017. Ze has
worked as a staff pharmacist in the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia
and PromptCare Home Infusion. In May 2016, he assumed the role of Sterile
Products Supervisor at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.

Abha Pandya, PharmD, BCPS
Staff Clinical Pharmacist, Emergency Services
Abha graduated from Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University
in 2014. She completed a PGY-1 Residency at Maimonides Medical Center
in Brooklyn, New York, with a sub-specialty of Emergency Medicine. During
this time, she helped precept LIU students on their Emergency Medicine
and Ambulatory Care rotations and she also obtained a Teaching Certificate
with the Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy at Long Island
University. She joined Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in February 2016
as the Emergency Department pharmacist.

Adam Pennoyer, PharmD
Clinical Pharmacist, Cardiothoracic Intensive Care
Clinical Assistant Professor FDU
Adam Pennoyer earned his PharmD from the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy
at Rutgers University in 2014. Following graduation, he pursued a clinical
career path and subsequently underwent his PGY1 residency training at
Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
The following year he completed his PGY2 critical care specialty residency
at New York-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. In 2016, he joined
the Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Pharmacy in Madison, New
Jersey as a Clinical Assistant Professor, and serves as the cardiothoracic
intensive care clinical pharmacy specialist at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.

Barbara Greenberg-Schwartz, RPh, CCHP
Clinical Pharmacist, Transitional Care
Barbara graduated from the Long Island University College of Pharmacy in
1979. She was residency trained at Montifore Medical Center, NYC where
she was one of the first residents to participate in the ASHP Hospital
Pharmacy Matching Program, specializing in clinical and hospital pharmacy
management. She then went on to pursue a career in clinical pharmacy practicing
in many teaching hospitals throughout NY and NJ area. In 2008, she joined
Monmouth Medical Center- Southern Campus as a Clinical Pharmacist, specializing
in anticoagulation management and cardiology. In May 2015, Barbara joined
Newark Beth Israel as a Clinical Pharmacist, specializing in Transitions
of Care. As of member of the Care Transitions team, Barbara and her team
members work with patients who are at high risk of readmission to NBIMC
to educate them about their medications, disease management and life style
changes to help prevent re admissions. Patients are also seem by Barbara
post-discharge at the Transitions of Care Clinic where she educates them
one to one to ensure continuity of care.

Rouel Guiang, RPh
Clinical Pharmacist, Solid Organ Transplant
Rouel Guiang graduated from the University of the Philippines Manila with
a BSPharm in 1997. He worked in the medical industry for a year before
continuing his education to receive his MD from the Far Eastern University
Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation in 2003. He joined Newark Beth Israel
Medical Center in 2006 as a staff pharmacist and became the clinical specialist
for the Heart, Lung, and Kidney and Pancreas Transplant programs in 2008.

Soonali Maniar, PharmD, BCPS
Clinical Pharmacist, Lung Transplant
Soonali received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Bouve College of
Health Sciences at Northeastern University in 2008. Post-graduation, she
completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
Following her clinical training, she worked as a clinical pharmacist at
New York-Presbyterian Hospital and as a community pharmacist at a local
independent pharmacy. She joined Newark Beth Israel Medical Center as
a staff pharmacist in 2016, and later became a clinical specialist for
the lung transplant program.
