At Saint Barnabas Medical Center we are committed to the development and professional growth of our nurses. We strongly encourage and believe that continuing education is essential in strengthening our nurses’ knowledge and skills which will allow us to provide the best care for our patients. We provide support to our nurses that make the commitment to advancing their degrees with tuition reimbursement, on-site graduate degree classes, and discounted tuition with our collaborating universities. SBMC also supports the pursuit of nursing certification by hosting review courses on campus and offering certification recognition pay upon successful completion of a certification exam. Our Education Department frequently offers continuing education credit programs all year round for our nursing staff.
